One thing I love about these YA/New Adult crossover books is that the leads don’t usually jump right into bed together. Their chemistry together was awesome throughout the entire book. I just loved her attitude about things and I loved her interactions with Holder. Once I read Slammed and saw what Hoover was capable of, I made sure I had the entire Hopeless series in my grasp before I moved them to the top of my to-read pile. And truth be told I probably wouldn’t have picked up for a little while longer if I hadn’t read–and loved–Hoover’s other YA novel, Slammed. So I purchased it for my Kobo but didn’t end up reading it until much, much later. When I first got into New Adult novels, Hopeless graced every recommended read list I encountered. Genre: Young Adult/New Adult, Romance, Drama There is a FREE standalone novella after book 2 called, Finding Cinderellaīook Order: Alternate POV Sequel The novella is Connected SERIESous’ Top Book Series: Fav New Adult 2015 Must Read Author The whole book/audio moved me but I really felt moved by the pinky finger hold at the end of the book and Holder's definition of the word devastated in the beginning and the end of the book.Series Review: Is this series worth your time? Kirby put a lot of emotions into some parts of the book that I don't think I would have put as much emphasis on. I read Hopeless very fast but after listening to Losing Hope I think I will listen to Hopeless. I savored the emotional heart tugging of the book by listening to Kirby's easy cadence. What does Kirby Heyborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book? I really loved that the story starts a year ahead of Hopeless and I totally enjoyed the short epilogue a year later

I like to listen to books again with friends and family that they wouldn't normally read.Įven though this was Hopeless from Holder's point of view, I didn't feel like it was redundant story line. Yes! This is a audible that a non reader/listener could get into. Would you listen to Losing Hope again? Why?
